- signals
Turn signals, Hazards.
Simply use the current vcmod ( may work on some photon vehicles ) or with photon vehicles it goes like this
A and LMB will activate the left turn signal
D and LMB will activate the right turn signal ( Press them at the same time, and to deactivate press LMB once )
S and LMB will activate the hazards
- controls
For me the controls are a little bit weird, but luckily you can set them. simple hold Q go to the right portion of the screen and select utilities then look at the " photon tab " and click controls. You can bind them from there.
- Vehicle customization
To customize your car just look at your vehicle hold " C " and right click your car. Then browse to the " equipment " tab. And you can customize out of the billion options that are available. ( If you want to save your cars equipment view the " configurations" tab. [ TIP - Don't bind anything with LMB, it will be hard to use as the turn signal is default binded with LMB )
- Vehicle Configurations
To save your lighting, such as the light bar or the caution lights etc simply follow this ( will save all items on car at once )
Hold Q, navigate to photon like before then click configurations then save the name Example Unmarked Explorer and name the category explorer ( this is my preference however do it as you like )
- Lighting for idiots
some people name be new, or not knowledgeable of simple lighting so this is for your species.
Primary - This is the general lighting of the vehicle, code one is for low priority calls such as a domestic violence, code two is stepped up and at places like intersections use your siren; horn to go through if you have a red. and code three if something like a shootout and or a robbery in progress etc.
Auxiliary - These are you warning and or directory lights, in my preference i use the main ( cruise or caution may differ idk ) to drive around in storms to make the vehicle more noticeable to the citizens, at a car crash or a scene if i arrive later than the other units i park my cruiser blocking the road and will use the left and right directional lights to guide civilians away. ( note - with photon you can use the auxiliary lights along with the primary lighting )
Illumination - This is the spotlights on your car, some vehicle don't have this i shouldn't have to explain otherwise please get trained again.
- icons
One the bottom of the lighting notifier you'll see three weird icons the tow on the left show your Manual siren/ Horn. And the one on the right shows you the " Blackout mode" which i use on speed traps more at night ( Will turn off all lighting including the use of turn signals so don't drive around with it; exempting emergency lighting obviously )
- Radar
This is one of my favorite features of photon, when you turn it on you will see three colors - orange/yellow, Red, green - green= your speed - red /orange/yellow represents the target ( a vehicle ) ( Warning it Makes a very cancerous noise for other vehicles and i have no clue as to how to change and or get rid of it )
Don't pay attention to where it is whether it in the red or orange sections just know the speed limit )
Note -
If your PC isn't to well optimized don't overload on lighting it will probably destroy your frames, and make sure to do this if you want to gain more frames when using lighting Q - photon - Client and lower the " bloom limit "
Extra -
If anyone wants i will make more of these tutorial pages, for things such as EMS, fire whatever.
